At Enterprise we would get a new case and start by entering it into the filing system (Perfect Practice) and then proceed to purchase the Index #, start the investigations to locate the whereabouts of all named defendants so they can then be served by the actual process servers.  We would follow up on the services and possibly change the type of service or further the investigation to Surrogates Court, due diligence, etc.  After service is made we will then further the process to have the affadavits filed with the court, as well as implementing and keeping track of the filing of additional motions to be filed, the foreclosure auctions, etc.

Thanks to NPC credits, Jennifer Black enrolls directly into upper division of Criminal Justice Administration program at University of Phoenix, and will receive her bachelor's degree next summer.  She writes:

"Last week I clicked on the U of Phoenix link on our NPC homepage and learned of the agreement between U of P and NPC with regard to college credits, etc. Thought this was GREAT. Went to U of P down the street, talked to a counselor about being 30 years old, having no college degree and wanting to be an attorney. (Some things don't hit us until later in life, I guess.) Spent three hours with the counselor (the BEST)-- she actually cared about me and my goals. I showed her our website, walked her through the site, showed her my course grades and she was on the phone with NPC in a minute to talk business. My NPC credits along with previous college credits wiped out my lower division requirements and she enrolled me straight into the upper division courses for the BS in Criminal Justice Administration. Next summer I will be receiving my degree and then finally I can pursue the dream of becoming an attorney. It goes to show that where there's a will, there's a way, and I am thrilled to be enrolled in this paralegal program because it's a great experience, valuable knowledge and it has saved me so much time with regard to getting a degree. At the same time, I am preparing to interview in the legal arena once I graduate NPC. Wow. It's all coming together."

Law firm of Schwabe, Williamson and Wyatt sends 4 students to NPC's new Constitutional Law course.

Having been happy with past NPC courses taught in the field of Business Law & Bankruptcy, Schwabe, Williamson and Wyatt is sending new students to NPC's upcoming Constitutional Law course.

NPC student, Maube Mor, uses skills learned at NPC to assist attorneys.
In her own words:

"I feel that I have learned a vast body of information in a very short time. This has been invaluable in working with the attorneys I assist. Because I have this background now, I can understand the concepts they are dealing with, I can be a sounding board when needed, and I can better prepare the materials they need. For example: when preparing documents to submit to insurance companies (in personal injury cases) or for court proceedings, knowing what is/is not important makes me much more efficient and better able to streamline a presentation. Why waste time gathering information that has no affect or is extraneous?! Knowing the laws that are the basis for the case or claim to be presented, means knowing what is essential and what needs to be emphasized. By assembling this, claims or cases can be settled quicker and with better results. "

NPC student working at Phoenix law firm of Crosby & Gladner, P.C., much helped by NPC program.
She says:

" I believe that this class has also helped me in understanding that there are many types of law out there [as opposed to just focusing on one particular area].  It gives me hope that now with my certificate ... there are various types of law I could use my skills in. "
