Financial Aid

National Paralegal College is a participant in the Title IV Federal Financial Aid Program. Students who qualify may receive Federal Pell Grants, Direct Subsidized, Unsubsidized, and/or Parent Plus Loans, to cover tuition and related expenses. Financial aid is available only for students in the degree programs.

All students applying for financial aid must complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), with the NPC school code 041574.

Please follow the following steps to complete your financial aid application:

STEP 1: Create your FAFSA access PIN here.

If this is your first time filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and you haven't applied for a PIN, you should do so now. Your PIN is what allows you to complete the FAFSA paper-free! You'll need your PIN to make online corrections to your FAFSA, including changing your name and address, or adding/changing the name of a school to receive your application data. The PIN is also your identifier to let you access personal information in various U.S. Department of Education systems.

STEP 2: Start your FAFSA application.

The Department of Education will generally process your FAFSA in approximately 3-5 days. Once your FAFSA has been processed, proceed to STEP 3.

Please complete the 2011-2012 FAFSA. This FAFSA is the current FAFSA that runs from July 1st, 2011 until June 30th, 2012. Depending on whether you have completed a FAFSA before, you will see one of the two screens below. In either case, select the option that is circled in red in the illustration.

Pick the 2011-2012 FAFSA or Pick the 2011-2012 FAFSA

If you have not yet done so, submit a school application. You will then receive a username and password from the NPC admissions staff that you can use to log on to the site.

STEP 3: Complete and submit your enrollment documents

Log on to the website and click "enrollment forms" on the student menu. There, you will find:

  1. Enrollment agreement
  2. Official high school transcript request

STEP 4: Contact the NPC Admissions Office to plan your course schedule.

STEP 5: Your NPC required forms

Please complete these brief forms and e-mail or fax (866-347-2744) them to the NPC office.

  1. Register as a new user to create an account.
  2. Follow the link to the “Student Interview Center” and complete the interview.
  3. If you are applying for any type of federal loan, electronically sign the Master Promissory Note.

If you are using financial aid, you do not need to enter credit card information on the NPC site in order to enroll.
